My Top Ideas for Father's Day!

Dishes for Dad

Hello Reader

I love to use Father's Day to make some of those dishes that I know he craves, with big flavours and a hint of indulgence. So I've pulled together a selection of recipes that are definitely going to make dads happy!

These are the kinds of recipes you can mix and match depending on your plans, whether it’s a full backyard BBQ or a relaxed family dinner. Minimal fuss, maximum flavour, just how it should be.

👉 Rib Eye Steak with Sicilian Lemon Herb Sauce - The king of steaks is always a hit with father's, and who can blame them? Juicy and full of flavour, and even better with the drizzled sauce.

👉 Ham and Mushroom Naan Pizza - Looking to get the kids involved in making a meal for dad? This simple pizza is the perfect way, plus it tastes fantastic as well!

👉 Pulled Pork Sandwich - This recipe is a slow burner with a big flavour reward! It's unbelievably succulent with mouthwatering marinated then shredded pork shoulder.

👉 Loaded Nachos Supreme - The perfect dad indulgence, with spicy chorizo and oozy cheddar, then topped with pico de gallo and lime crema. Truly next level!

👉 Gochujang Short Ribs - For dads who enjoy a bit of culinary adventure, these Korean-inspired short ribs will have their mouth water and fingers tingling in anticipation!

👉 Cheddar and Gruyere Mac and Cheese - Dad looking for a bit of comfort food? This stunning mac and cheese is made with creamy, sharp cheese and smoky sausage.

👉 Slow Cooker Beef Brisket - A melt-in-your mouth beef brisket. Steeped in BBQ flavour, it'll only take 15 minutes of prep before your slow cooker does the rest.

👉 Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie - Let's finish strong with this sweet and rich pie made with the flavours of maple, pecans, and bourbon. What father could resist?

Wishing you a flavourful week ahead!

Love,
Julia x
