The Most Popular Recipes of 2026 (So Far) - from Vikalinka

Recipes you love in 2026

Hello Reader

We’re a few months into the year, which makes it the perfect time to look back at the recipes you’ve loved most so far. Based on your comments, emails and messages, these four recipes have quickly become the standout posts of 2026. They’re the ones readers keep telling me they’ve already made more than once - always a good sign that a recipe is worth saving.

If you’ve missed any of them, this is your chance to catch up with the most popular recipes of the year so far. And if you’ve already tried them, I’d love to hear which one has become your favourite!

👉 Chicken Marbella - You surprised me with this recipe! I thought that prunes would turn people away, but glad I was wrong. It's fruity and fragrant, and I'm pleased you loved it as much as me!

👉 Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast - How could you not love this Southern-style pot roast, with tender meat and a tangy gravy? And so low effort to boot.

👉 Somerset Chicken - I know you love chicken breast, and it's no wonder that this version, cooked in a creamy sauce made with apple cider and cheddar cheese, is a big hit! Absolutely irresistible.

👉 Lentil Spinach Soup - High in fibre, protein and iron, and made with frugal ingredients, this is a soup that is having a moment. And hard to beat it for taste as well, so could this be the perfect lunch?

Wishing you a flavourful week ahead!

Love,
Julia x

From Winter to Spring: Perfect Dinners for the Seasonal Shift Hello Reader There's something about this time of year, where we're still reaching for comfort at dinner, but the light's shifting, the farmers' markets are waking up, and suddenly all I want is food that feels a bit brighter, a bit lighter. These are the dinners I'm making on repeat right now. Still cozy and satisfying, but with that unmistakable hint of spring creeping in. Perfect for when winter's hanging around but spring's...

Dinner, Handled: Make-Ahead Weeknight Recipes Hello Reader Weeknights can be a lot. Between work, school runs, and everything else life throws at us, getting dinner on the table can feel like one task too many. That’s where make-ahead meals really shine. These are the dinners I rely on when I want future-me to feel smugly organised 😉 Recipes you can prep earlier in the day (or even the night before), stash in the fridge, and simply bake, reheat, or finish off when it’s time to eat.
