Recipes I'm cooking on repeat this month - from Vikalinka

What I'm cooking on repeat in March

Hello Reader

March hits differently, doesn't it? We're all pedalling out of winter's heaviness, craving something lighter on our plates, but not quite ready to give up those comforting dinners that don't require much thought after a long day.

These are a few of my March staples: the recipes I genuinely make on repeat, the ones that work whether you're feeding the family on a Tuesday or cooking something relaxed for the weekend. No fuss, just solid, dependable meals.

The kind of food you make once, then find yourself cooking again the very next week because it just works.

If you're stuck in a winter cooking rut or just need a few reliable go-tos to bridge the season, this is your starting line. Everything here is tried, tested, and currently on heavy rotation in my kitchen.

👉 Salisbury Steak - Come for the protein, stay for the flavour! Somewhere between a meatloaf and a burger, bathed in a deliciously earthy mushroom and onion gravy.

👉 Spicy Chicken and Rice Soup: Georgian Soup Kharcho - A nourishing, slightly spicy soup heaped with herbs, garlic and chilli, and thick with rice and shredded chicken.

👉 Beef Teriyaki - This dish has brought so much flavour to our weeknight meals, without making me work any harder than usual.

👉 Beef Short Rib Ragu - Pasta is always in my rotation, and this one has been winning out recently.

👉 Hot Cheesy Salmon Sandwich - Adding a bit of variety to my lunchtime with this variation on the classic tuna melt. Simple yet truly delicious!

👉 Flourless Oatmeal Muffins - I've been baking these on a weekend so I can keep breakfast simple and nutritious all week long. A great start to the day that keeps me feeling nourished for hours.

Wishing you a flavourful week ahead!
