The Recipes Keeping Me Going Right Now - from Vikalinka

Hello Reader

The drop in temperature this last week has hit me hard. I know it's coming, but I'm never quite ready when it arrives. So I've been scrambling to find thick socks plus something for dinner that will warm me from the inside out.

And this has meant that I've been pulling out my favourite Winter Warmer recipes. Chili and stew are the culinary equivalents of a warm hug, except they also happen to be ridiculously easy, feed a crowd (or your future self for three days), and somehow perform the impossible trick of tasting better after a night in the fridge.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who needs a warming dinner right about now, so I'm sharing the two recipes that have made me so happy this week!

Crowd Pleasing Chili

Beef and kidney beans are slowly cooked in a tomato sauce, seasoned with warming spices of cumin, chilli, coriander and more. This crowd pleasing chili recipe is a one for the books!

Easy Chicken Stew

Juicy chicken thighs cosy up to soft, broth-soaked potatoes and carrots, a lick of salty bacon, and leafy greens float alongside handfuls of herbs. It’s central heating in a bowl.

Wishing you a flavourful week ahead!

Love,
Julia x
